Using the thought that a new head coach would be named on January 3rd, I considered it might be fun to keep an eye on plane traffic around Happy Valley and this caught my eye... A Gulfstream G-IV (tail # N121JM see: http://flightaware.com/resources/registration/N121JM) is registered to SK Travel LLC in Raleigh, NC. Lewis Katz is an officer of the company (see: http://www.secretary.state.nc.us/corporations/Corp.aspx?PitemId=5025070). For those who know, Lewis does have some serious Penn State connections. Now, from the current flight history on N121JM (see: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N121JM/history) you can see that this plane has been parked in Bozeman, MT since the day after Christmas. Yesterday (January 1st) this plane went from Bozeman to Morristown, NJ, to New Castle, Delaware and down to Boca Raton. Currently it is on it's way from Boca to Philly and then it will continue on to University Park before going back to New Castle, Delaware. What does this mean? Could it be the Katz's (or others in the company) spending the holidays skiing in MT, heading home and dropping some family off in Boca with a quick stop to see his building on campus? Sure. But for those of us with a new coach to find, could it be Chris Petersen heading east, going down to Boca to meet Terry Pegula, stopping in Philly to get Ira Lubert and then everybody heading up to Happy Valley to start the meet and greets while everyone's attention is on the football game?
