The day I wished for QB14 was Today
I wished for Darryl Clark, but he is still in Jay's basement out benchpressing every Japanese arm wrestling machine (a noble cause) So I wished for QB14 today at 13:00 in the 1st Qtr when QB1 missed Zordich in the flat.
I am a football playcalling duck cyborg (totally for the Oregon helmets) and its so freaking painful to watch Houston recievers run a 5 yd cross or a 3-4 hitch out of 5-wide. Honestly, we adjusted too late and we got killed by the dink and dunk. I can throw 4 yd hitches all day if the D is playing 6 yds off. (This is my only real knock on the D) The broken coverages happen to all teams at some point.
Now on to the Offense: Numbers 50 and 58 who were offensive lineman, are the slowest pulling lineman I have seen all week in 6 games of football. That killed our run game. Rob Bolden needs to hang up the cleats, the guy just isn't mentally ready. His TD throw is more of Brown's flash of redic ability. 6 of 20 with 3 INTs 1 TD after all that BULLSHIT LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR. GO EFF YOURSELF, SORRY WHEN MY DAD SAYS TO ME, HOW MANY INTS DID MORELLI HAVE IN A BOWL GAME OR BAD BAD PASSES YOU KNOW YOUR BAD.
For comparison in Bowl Games
Bolden: 7-26, 137, 5.3 avg 1 TD 3 INTs points from INTs = 13
McGloin: 17-41, 211 5.1. avg 1 TD, 1 Rush TD, 5 INTs point from Ints = 13 (1 pick-6, 2 FGs)
QB14: Alamo Bowl: 15-31, 143, 4.6 avg 1 TD 1 INT points from INT = 3
QB 14 Outback Bowl: 14-25, 197, 1 TD 0 INT
Anthony James* Morelli a.k.a. QB14 a.k.a. Dragon-Born of Skyrim would have won the game against Houston
BONUS Comparison is going to be Zack Mills and his bowl record stats
Z. Mills: 8-24 69 yds, 1 INT points off INT 0
I still think Zack Mills beats Houston.

Richardson was better than mediocre in the Outback Bowl
1996 Outback Bowl…Richardson 13 for 24, 217 yds., 4 TD, 1 Int.
In absolutely crappy playing conditions.
I’d take those numbers any day.
I forgot about that performance
All I remembered was his less than average Fiesta Bowl. Mea Culpa.
Predicting Penn State's Offensive Scripts since 2005!
I would have played McGregor.
And I’m being dead serious.
I, for one, plan to continue my life long contempt for the powers that be and I fully expect to be disappointed with whatever choice is made. ~PSUgirl
Agree - I was calling for McGregor all day
How could he possibly play any worse?
Or, at the very least, continue playing Belton until Houston stops him. Even if he only knows 10 plays, keep running the plays until they stop it
I am with you on this
Belton’s one pass to Smith was beautiful, Smith just got killed.
Predicting Penn State's Offensive Scripts since 2005!
I know I was booing at the TV when they took Belton out...
He was getting 5 yards at a time on the ground and had just thrown a pretty good ball that would have loosened the D up a little more for the run. I mean, what’s the worst that could have happened at that point?
