Lasting Impression
If this has been discussed at length then I apologize but have been thinking and am curious what others may think on the matter. We have discussed Joes impression/mark he left on us and Penn State, What about the game? I can think of two important facets that he did have a hand in bringing about. These would be the use of instant replay in the current format or the big ten expansion. Maybe i am grasping and he wasn't as influential on these two as i like to think. Tell me what your thoughts are or have I drank too much homemade wine in a kitchen on Pittston..

I think I'll vote
instant replay. Need to think some more, because we’ve been screwed a few times thanks to IR.
"Make haste to reassure us, I beg you, and tell us that our fellow citizens understand us, support us, and protect us as we ourselves are protecting the glory of the Empire.
"If it should be otherwise, if we should have to leave our bleached bones on these desert sands in vain, then beware the fury of the Legions."
One can never have too much homemade wine from Pittston
Black shoes, basic blues, no names, all game.
It can never be overstated just how much Ohio State sucks.
That being said, I voted for instant replay. YMMV.

YMMV?
lerning on te internitz is fun! YAY!
"They stalk their prey to within two or three great leaps and then launch a lightning-fast charge, striking their prey. Victims are most often killed by suffocation with a prolonged bite..."--Hinterland Who's Who
I voted OSU sucks, but mostly for the lack of a 'best' option
I’d like to think that Joe’s biggest impact on the game will be similar to what it was on Penn State: that you can win while doing things the right way.
I might be naive, but I’d like to think that there are at least a few young coaches who saw Joe as an inspiration. Even if only one or two coaches look at him for guidance on how to recruit and play the game, it will be important.
Therefore, while it may not be the biggest impact on football, I hope that his success will have a lasting impact on how college football is run.

It's more fun if you roll with the options given.
Actually it’s more fun if you’re drunj. …but then what isn’t more fun while drunj?

I think instant replay.
After the Iowa loss in 2002, and the Michigan 2002 screwjob (ain’t it something with scUM that we have to mention the year since we’ve been shafted by the refs with that cheating outfit several times) instant replay at least makes it harder to screw you.
Unfortunately, instant replay can prevent time from being added back to the clock.
