Hey BSD community,
I think it's safe to say it's been a tough week for all of us.
On Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 I was sitting in a movie theater, and I was thinking about all my Penn State friends and family who were in State College and wishing I could be with them to say goodbye to our coach Joe Paterno.
Well it turns out Joe decided to visit me in the form of a song that was playing over the pre-movie ads by an artist named Robert Ellis. I was overwhelmed by the message, and wanted to put together some kind of montage to share it with people, but I had no videos or pictures, and I'm not very good at putting that kind of stuff together. So I wondered what would happen if I just played the song over one of my other favorite Joe Paterno videos that the Football program originally made using another song.... and I wasn't really prepared for what I saw. I don't know how to describe it, but i just wanted to share this with Joe's friends and fans, and Penn Staters everywhere.
I hope you enjoy it.
We'll never forget you Joe!

More tears
That was lovely, kajpsu.

Great find on the video.
I've been downhearted baby, I've been downhearted baby, ever since the day we met . . .
Beautiful piece of work!!
Even though I am now crying again . . . .

"If it should be otherwise, if we should have to leave our bleached bones on these desert sands in vain, then beware the fury of the Legions."
Nice work
I never get enough of this stuff. Thanks.
If you are tempted to fight fire with fire, remember that the Fire Department normally uses water.
Thanks everybody
I truly believe that the unbelievable coincidence of this song, which I heard for the first time on Tuesday, and this video done by the Penn State Football program for Joe’s 400th, fit together so incredibly well. I think it’s a gift from JoePa to all of us. So please share it with others.
