Jack Raykovitz Did not inform Second Mile Board Members
This article gives several names of Second Mile Board Members who were not informed of Tim Curley's contact with Raykovitz about Jerry Sandusky. It seems Sandusky and Raykovitz were close friends. This is the guy who was protecting Sandusky while running the Second Mile charity where JS took his victims
Raykovitz and his wife received $233,000. in annual salaries from Second Mile for the years following the notification by Tim Curley that Sandusky would no longer be allowed to bring kids to use PSU facilities.
Second Mile contributed $25,000 to then Attorney General Tom Corbett's campaign for Governor and board members contributed thousands more.
Second Mile knew of the 1998 investigation and the Exec Director Raykovitz was informed of the 2002 decision by PSU administrators to ban Sandusky from bringing kids to workout at PSU, but it was not until the 2008 revelation by Sandusky himself that Second Mile acted to restrict his access to children using Second Mile

Aurabass,
I’ve said it before, and I’ll most likely say it again…thank you very much for all the research and writing you do here. I, for one, am very grateful, and I bet I’m not alone in that feeling.
Please continue.

aurubass, serious question
Do you sleep? Also if such sleep occurs, do you now live in a basement with bottle for you to pee into, and just do nothing but scour the interwebs to find these article and write others about what is happening to us here in Central PA? I am a bit concerned.
Great work, just concerned.

I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
I actually use my living room for my command post with 4 computers rockin a gigabyte router with extra bandwidth from the cable company.
The old CRT on the right has been replaced with a 42" Samsung HD and the 60" Sony with the moon also serves as a monitor
Today I’m multi tasking with a UT Lady Vols game, the NFL, and listening to some killer tracks while blogging, posting and working on my novel. Too wet and cold to bike ride today.
I’m thinking about an E-book from the pro PSU perspective since I’ve already done half the research and written a few chapters. This is one of the most interesting stories I’ve come across that has so few writers covering the TRUTH
Do you think I should be concerned? Thanks for thinking of me Aries

And btw -
That sig line of yours should probably be credited to Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster since they wrote Bobby McGee even if Janet did make it well known.

I think it is very cool that you are contemplating an e-book on this whole sad story.
Please keep us up to date on that – you certainly have one customer. :)

Yeah,
But I love Janis, not a downer to Kris, but janis was the Woman!! Loved her soul and voice and she owned that song, imho.
If you need an editor to that book, I am a teacher that does that for reseaerch papers all the time and excellent when it comes to formatting and expecially Chicago manuel of Style. Also could’nt hurt my potential career, just sayin.

Helps I was not really paying attention to what I was actually writing. Also my brain goes faster than my fingers. I do it all the time, and just lazy to go back and re-read what I just wrote on an online thread, since I usualy don’t care if I misspel anything. But really have to with all you English czars around here.

Whatever individual thoughts on what PSU
people did or dind’t do, I think we can all agree that more time should be given to find out why more wasn’t done at the charity.
