The biggest change this week for Penn State fans is, of course, theaddition of week six foe Northwestern to both rankings.

Aside from that, there was little movement this week, with Michigan State dropping out following its second loss (both to top 15 teams), and Stanford falling significantly after its Thursday night loss to Washington (who makes an appearance in the AP poll).

The SEC is still tops, with six teams in both polls; the Pac 12 also has six in the AP poll, but only has four in the Coaches. Conversely, the Big 12 has six in the USA Today Coaches poll, and only five in the AP poll.

The Big Ten is, understandably, down to three ranked teams in the AP, and only two in the coaches (with none in the top 20 of that poll). The ACC has two in each, while the Big East has two in the AP and three in the Coaches.

Boise State keeps dropping in and out of the polls, fluttering along the edge; with their by this week, Notre Dame still hovers around the #10 mark in both polls.

Louisiana Tech, with some good performances under their belt, looks to be the next non-BCS team to make the jump to being ranked.
