Another week of college football is in the books and it's time again to try and make sense of the chaos.
Dear B1G, Matt McGloin is hitting his stride and that's not good news for the rest of the conference. A victory against the Buckeyes will vault Penn State well into the BlogPoll, despite that ugly loss, progressively getting uglier by the week, to Virginia on the resume. West Virginia appears to be in freefall without a defense, conversely Kansas State looks legit and dangerous. Florida might be another team to look out for and Notre Dame is a week away from deserving actual attention for being good. Take a look at the ballot and remember, questions, corrections, suggestions and objections are always welcome.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
Cincinnati, Northwestern, Texas A&M and Arizona State all played their way out of the rankings. West Virginia and South Carolina continue to be ponderous for consecutive weeks. The Mountaineers offense is potent enough to warrant ranking, however their defense is nearly non-existent. The Gamecocks don't seem to travel, but might be world beaters on their home field. I was out of town this weekend and only got to run the numbers quickly, so if you have an argument for any team up or down I would love to hear it. Games of note this week include: Alabama at Mississippi State, Texas Tech at Kansas State, Notre Dame at Oklahoma, Ohio State at Penn State, Michigan at Nebraska, Cincinnati at Louisville and The World's Largest Cocktail Party in the wasteland known as Jacksonville, featuring Florida against Georgia.
