Jamie Rhodes-US PRESSWIRE

Not a lot of changes this week, though there was a shakeup in the BCS near the top. With their wins over Texas Tech and Oklahoma, Kansas State and Notre Dame, respectively, have jumped to spots two and three in the BCS--for as long as it lasts for Oregon to stay outside of any national championship picture.
The massive concentration of SEC teams near the top (with four teams grouped from #5 to #8) continues.
Louisville's come-from-behind win over Cincinnati ensured that the Cardinals are the only Big East team in the BCS. Nebraska, by contrast, is now the only Big Ten team in the polls, save Ohio State's continued top-ten presence in the AP poll.
Boise is still hovering around the #20 mark, and Ohio dropped out of polls after their loss to Miami of Ohio. Louisiana Tech becomes the newest BCS buster to enter the polls.
And, seriously, West Virginia? Sigh.
