Hello folks!
Yes, I'm not jessedotmom but I like to bake and I have a lot of extra time because I'm off work because of the hurricane. Today, I baked Snickers blondies. It was a fun way to spend an hour while rain poured here in Philly. They are pretty easy, especially if you use the real Snickers. Most of the time when I make these though, I make my own Snickers bars.
Snickers Blondies:
1 1/2 cups of Flour, sifted
1 1/4 cups of brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp of molasses
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of vanilla
1 stick of butter, melted
2 regular size Snickers bars or 8 fun size Snickers bars, cut into small pieces.
Heat oven to 350 degrees and grease/spray bottom of a 13x9inch rectangular pan. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in a small bowl, set aside. Cream brown sugar, molasses, vanilla and butter, then add the eggs. Stir until just combined. Add the flour mixture in three separate times, mixing well after each addition. Spread into pan and sprinkle Snicker pieces into the top. Bake for 20 mins or until toothpick put into the middle of the blondies comes out clean. Cut while hot then let cool.
You can add walnuts, pecans, chocolate chips, etc. to make whatever kind of blondies you want.
:)
