Most of you know about Lt. Michael Murphy, Navy SEAL, by now (if you don't, you owe it to yourself to learn about him), but here is an update about how the Navy is recognizing and honoring his sacrifice.

I never knew Lt. Murphy, and it would be presumptuous of me to assume Penn State molded his character any more than did his parents, his Naval service, or any other influence. But, I think it is safe to say that his values of "team first" and self-sacrifice clearly align with what Penn State has striven to both build and become.

Thank you, Lt. Murphy and family, for your service and sacrifice. I offer you "Taps".
