Another week of college football is in the books and it's time again to try and make sense of the chaos.
I suppose it makes sense that on a Talladega weekend, Florida State goes all Tony Stewart and decides to take their car airborne against NC State. The Seminoles were not alone, Georgia never got off the bus in South Carolina, Nebraska was shellacked by Ohio State and LSU lost to the first team they played with a pulse. As a result, the BlogPoll is a flaming pile of wreckage. Take a look at the ballot and remember, questions, corrections, suggestions and objections are always welcome.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
TCU lost their quarterback, then lost to Iowa State and now lost a place in the poll. UCLA is who we thought they were and managed to lose to Cal. I'm fairly comfortable with the Top 10 as it sits right now, however after that, total toss up. This is one of those weeks that teams float, because, frankly, I don't know what to do with them. Schedules that, at first, seemed stronger, in retrospect seem less so and the Big 12's lack of defense, while entertaining, makes it difficult to gauge overall quality of the squads. On a side note, has a BCS conference ever had an easier schedule to 5-0 than Mississippi State? Jackson State, Auburn, Troy, South Alabama and Kentucky? Seriously, if anyone has an argument for teams to swap in or where they should be placed, pitch me. Games of note this week include: South Carolina at LSU, Stanford at Notre Dame and, of course, the Red River Shootout, Texas against Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl.
