So the B1G quarter finalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award (which goes to the best lineman or linebacker in the nation) were announced. Hodges and Hill were named to the watch list at the beginning of the season but Mauti was not. None of the three appear on the list despite the fact that three of the weeks Mauti or Hodges were B1G defensive player of the week (Mauti twice and Hodges this week). The B1G players are Borland from Wisconsin (I can take that...he's been really solid for them), Hankins from tOSU, Ghoulston of MSU, and Short from Purdue. Seriously!? There's no way any of the last three stack up against Mauti and maybe Hodges! This is serious BS. Mauti is getting robbed after being the only B1G player to be defensive player of the week TWICE, and none of them have been Walter Camp DPOW like Mauti. BS!
