Cothren committed to Purdue in July, but recently took a visit to Penn State, one that would change the course of his recruitment for the good guys.
A visit to Happy Valley during the Indiana game would have done wonders for any offensive player, including a couple of JUCO visitors, but it was a defensive lineman in Cothren who pulled the trigger first.
Outlook
6'5", 265-pounds? OK, Larry. Now we go. With Cothren in the fold for Coach Johnson, one of the last precious spots in the Class of 2013 has been filled. While we continue to learn more about Parker, he projects as an interior defensive lineman for Larry Johnson.
Until we learn more, all that you need to know is that he is from the south, will be coached by Larry Johnson, and looks like Matt McGloin. Check and mate.
