B1G CotY/PotY Awards

Stay connected for news and updates

Deion Barnes was selected as freshman player of the year in the B1G. Kyle Carter was also on the list, and was Chuck Long's "back-up" choice.

John Simon of o$u was defensive poty. Mauti was Chuck Long's back-up choice for that honor.

BOB won BOTH the coaches' and the media's awards as Coach of the Year in the conference. Revsine, Chuck Long, and Howard all thought that he was the best choice. The o$u crowd flooded the Twitter world with support for Urbz, of course, but they can suck it.

They got a consolation prize: BMiller got offensive player-of-the-year. T Magic got runner-up love.

So, considering there were two coach awards, and BOB got both, Penn State got three of five awards. Watch for Emmert to condemn our football culture again . . . .
