Guy Cipriano is suggesting that PSU rewrite BOB's contract and give him more cash. He makes some fair points, stabilization of the program, keeping recruits and players here, winning the B1G coach of the year, the womens BB coach playing PSU for a raise, etc. He also mentions that BOB's agent represents over 40 NFL players, and the 4 'recruiting' periods that BOB has to endure.

I am not totally against the idea, but I will mention Notre Dame. They thought they had their savior when they hired Charlie Weis. I've heard that CW is and was a tool, and I am not suggesting that BOB is anything like CW, but ND fired his can and it could cost his school 19 million dollars! They also had to pay out to Ty Willingham.

BOB is great, he's done a great job, he's sold the program to the current players and the recruits coming in, but he is not the only person who can do what he can do.

I think we should just pump our brakes a bit.
