Back to life without PSU football. Yes indeed-ee, now the real-deal culture shock is about to set in!
There are so many things I could banter back and forth about, but, for me, coming out of this pigskin season with a smile (better known as my sarcastic smirk) was more than I ever expected. Having BOB voted Big Ten Coach of the Year was way more than I expected. Under him, this Penn State Football team did it -- in a manner befitting, and, in-the-style-of, the late, great, original, "my way" guy -- Joseph Vincent Paterno!
In honor of both coaches, I present to you a classic Italian dish that Joe would probably enjoy sitting down to after a hard-fought, successful, full of ridiculous obstacles, kick-in-the-balls, football season!
Pasta "al Tonno e Pomodoro" "a la Nicoise" (Pasta w/"Tuna & Tomatoes" "French Riviera-Style"):
It's my intention to keep these Snacks on Snacks posts going all year long now, mostly because I don't want to lose touch with you BSD folks. Please, chime in with your thoughts, comments, ideas, and recipe requests for any occasion or sporting event!
After all,
WE ARE, PENN STATE!!!
and:
WE DO IT OUR WAY!!!
(all others are imitations)
For the glory,
