Well that sure is a depressing article to read first thing in the morning. It wasn't until I got to the part about the grilled stickies that I figured out that the guy was talking about the greasy spoon across from Hammond and not the one on Garner across from the Lion's Den. Hell, nobody ever called that place "The Diner", that was the "NCD" (The New College Diner) although it did change it's name to the "Penn State Diner" sometime way back after it had a bad kitchen fire. What the hell's the matter with the college kids nowadays? Not only do they have the best grilled stickies in the world, that was the best place in town to get two cheeseburgers & a bowl of chili, regardless of whether it was for breakfast, luncn or after the bars closed.. Or maybe they can't find a good short-order cook anymore? Damn that's sad... that's mighty sad...
