I confess to being a little concerned about Jake Waters' delayed decision. It appears he is waiting to see how far K-State takes its run before deciding; I don't see that as a good thing for us. Does anyone have any more or different insight into his decision-making process?

I see him as an important part of our QB puzzle for at least the next year. Assuming he comes and quickly learns the playbook, he would allow Bench to understudy for at least one more year. Plus, it probably allows Hack his desired redshirt year.

Any other transfer candidates out there? Even with Waters and Bench (and Hack in reserve) we will be somewhat thin at QB. As we have seen with McGloin's growth this year, we need a smart kid who can absorb and execute BOB's game plan, not necessarily a kid who thinks he has to carry the entire team.
