The article mentions Jonah Bowman, a senior kicker from Wyomissing who O'Brien was looking at while at the AA state championship game. Bowman drilled a 52 yard field goal, a PIAA state playoff record. I was at the game and the kick was right down the middle with five yards to spare. His team ended up winning by three. There aren't too many high pressure field goals like that a high school kid would face. You have to like that poise under pressure.
