So I was just turning the page on my "Penn State 2012 Calendar" that I received last year from the Nittany Lion Club, and I read the "Success in the Classroom" column for the month of December. I should note that this is as of June 30, 2011.

So without further comment, here's what it had to say:

"Penn State has earned 118 Academic All-Americans since 1993-94, its first fully year in the Big Ten, a total higher than every other conference institution all-time (program began in 1952). Penn State has 172 Academic All-Americans all-time, the third-highest total among all NCAA institutions."
