Another week of college football is in the books and it's time again to try and make sense of the chaos.
Sigh, the season is over and now we play the waiting game. The bowls give us a little reprieve. Then, sigh, the NFL gives us little more football. Eventually, the spring game rolls around to give us one more taste before the long summer until next season. Real life interrupted this week and I was not able to put together the statistical breakdown between Notre Dame and Ohio State for the argument over the number one spot. Maybe I can have that ready for the final Blogpoll and pit Ohio State against the BCS Championship Game winner. In this week's poll all the conference title game losers took a tumble, especially Nebraska, along with Oklahoma State, meanwhile Baylor closed out the season impressively and moves into the rankings. Take a look at the ballot and remember, questions, corrections, suggestions and objections are always welcome.
Bowls match-ups of note include: Baylor vs. UCLA in the Holiday Bowl, LSU vs. Clemson in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, South Carolina vs, Michigan in the Outback Bowl, Georgia vs. Nebraska in the Capital One Bowl, Wisconsin vs. Stanford in the Rose Bowl, Northern Illinois vs. Florida State in the Orange Bowl, Louisville vs. Florida in the Sugar Bowl, Oregon vs. Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl, Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl and Alabama vs. Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game.
