This is what Penn State is About...Helping Kids With Cancer Survive
This is a wonderful story and one that should make the national media. It's about a former Four Diamonds kid who survived cancer and is dancing in THON this year.

That's a great story, minus all the grammatical errors.
Although Thon’s more than helping kids with cancer survive. It’s helping kids and families find joy and happiness. Unfortunately, we can’t help every kid survive cancer, but we can bring them some true happiness for a few days. Giving the kids and their families a supportive atmosphere to let their guard down and feel normal is immeasurable, and that’s the legacy of THON. Raising money to help families in the future while raising morale to help families now.
It is easy to go down into Hell; night and day, the gates of dark Death stand wide; but to climb back again, to retrace one's steps to the upper air - there's the rub, the task.

Exhilarating Memories
I’ve been lucky to have been able to entertain the dancers a half dozen, or so, times over the course of my career. Each time, I’ve felt myself getting emotional behind my drums…literally fighting back tears. It’s been a curious mix of pride, humility, inspiration, and awe each time. I’m truly humbled whenever I finish playing. The past few years I’ve played have been after 3 hour shows in the bars. Normally, I’m physically and emotionally spent after “work”. When I know I’m going to play at THON, I’m able to dig deep, and give everything I’ve got. I feel like I could keep going 2 or 3 times as long if they’d let us. As I lay my head on my pillow, I know in my heart that I’ve spent time among those who truly “get it”!
