Penn State: Statement regarding additional subpoenas

http://live.psu.edu/story/58468

"The Pennsylvania Attorney General has served personal subpoenas on a number of other University employees. We believe it is appropriate that it be left up to them and their attorneys whether to reveal their identities. The University will have no further comment, consistent with our past policies regarding the ongoing investigations."

-- Cynthia Baldwin, General Counsel for Penn State University

Curiously, this was not tweeted by either Penn State's official account, or the official Penn State Live official account. Nor does it appear anywhere on the Penn State or Penn State Live home pages.

I find this new-found policy of silence curious. They can't seem to shut their yaps about Paterno.

Yay openness and transparency!
