David Taylor has won the hodge trophy, which is the wrestling equivalent of the Heisman. Impressively Penn State finished with three guys in the top 5 and the number 1 and 2 wrestlers which is just ridiculous, and well deserved. Ruth finished 2nd in voting, and I think a strong case could have been made for his winning the trophy as he competed in a deeper weight class this year. Molinaro ended his career 4th in voting.

I also did some digging about the last time a team has had 3 undefeated national champions in the same year. I still have a hunch that one of the Gable teams may have done it in the 80s or early 90s but so far from what I've found, Penn State maybe the first since Oklahoma State in 1930.
