There comes a time in everyone's life when fiction trumps reality and I am allowing it to gleefully happen to me! Tonight, I don't particularly give a hoot-owls a** about the BOT, the scandal, the gossip, or even... BASKETBALL!!! Season 5 of Mad Men premiers at 9:00PM and I'm throwin' a dandy of a party! If you were alive in the '60's, or wish you were, come and take a stroll down memory lane with me:

For a menu straight out of the 60's start with shrimp cocktail... a nice big, fat, juicy platter of them:

Add a deviled egg or two and you've got a party on a plate:

follow it all up with a desert of black-bottom Black-Forest miniature chocolate-cheesecake cupcakes:
