So, one of my best friends' birthday is coming up, and I'm having a heckuva time figuring out what to get him for his birthday. I can't turn to twitter or facebook (he'd see either), so I decided to come to you, my treasured BSD brethren, for some help-slash-input.

A little bit about him:

We call him Hospital. Because that's his name.

He likes beer (including, maybe especially, craft beers) and bourbon.

He's an amazing cook (made buffalo burgers, veggie spread, and dirty brats for my Star Wars birthday pot luck).

He loves all things nerdy, from sci-fi to anime to comics.

He collects knives (maybe not as scary as it sounds).

He's NOT a big sports fan (follows soccer some)--hey, nobody's perfect, right?
