A friend of mine, a PSU alumna, is the head of a non-profit charity in Harrisburg, the Kids Trust, that helps children of abuse by providing grants to agencies in the 717. Its annual fundraiser, Run on the Roof, is this weekend. They put a treadmill on top of the Madden Physical Therapy Building in Harrisburg (5425 Jonestown Rd) and switch off runners for 24 hours. They just received confirmation that three PSU football players - Jordan Hill, Justin Brown and Silas Redd - will run this year. They are running from 5pm - 6pm on Friday June 15. If you live in the Harrisburg area, I encourage you to head over and support Kara, the Kids Trust, and these players for donating their time and energy to this important cause.
