Now, as we are all subjected to histrionics and piling on about enabling the monster and covering up the deeds, perhaps some member of the press will latch onto this simple fact:
A Penn State Jury, through and through, sitting in Happy Valley, in the Centre County Court of Common Pleas, rightfully found the person responsible for all of this, guilty.
Nothing about this mess was handled well by the various administrators that came into contact with the horrific facts. The Board sat on its hands, and no one made the hard decisions, and got the call right, to use football parlance.
But, it was all Penn Staters who, after sifting through the evidence, brought justice to the victims, and restored faith in Centre County, Happy Valley, and Penn State.
There will be civil lawsuits, and if Penn State's leadership has any brains at all, those will be settled VERY QUICKLY.
For now, we have righted the ship.
May no act of ours bring shame.
