So this is the third time I'm trying to write this, it keeps kicking an error message out to me. Summer is here and motorcycling weather is in full swing, so I thought I'd see what other BSD'ers are riding. As for myself, I'm on bike number four in 7 years. First was a learner bike for me, an 04 Honda Shadow Aero 750 that I outgrew in two years. Following that was my second favorite, an 07 Yamaha Vstar 1300 (one of the first 125 built) that I adored. However, one of my dream bikes was a Goldwing, which I bout in early 2010 (a used 08 model). Though I liked it, I didn't love it, and maintenance was an issue. So, after trading that in on my truck, this spring I bought a 1999 Honda Valkyrie Tourer. This has been my favorite bike by far, and a pleasure to ride like no other. Typically, friends and I plan one really long trip per year (3-4000 miles in a week), though this year we skipped. Destinations have been South Dakota (no, not sturgis), new orleans, and upper nova scotia (our shortest trip). I also teach the Motorcycle Safety Course for PA. So....what about you?
