Matt Kranchick came to Penn State as a wide receiver but added 45 pounds by his senior year and switched to tight end getting the starting nod. He recorded 24 receptions for 352 yards and a touchdown (see pic), over 23 games for the Nittany Lion. Matt impressed enough in his limited playing time to get drafted by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL draft.
