With all the media in a frenzy to show Joe Paterno convinced his superiors to cover up for Jerry Sandusky, why has no one attempted to ask and answer the following simple question:
"If Joe wanted this covered up, why did he go to his superiors in the first place?"
Think about that. It would have been far easier and less messy for Joe to convince McQueary that he did not see what he saw if he wanted to continue to work at Penn State, than to contact Curley and Shultz and then have them cover it up. Doesn't make sense does it? Of course it doesn't, but then the media is not interested in the truth or any rational resemblance of the truth.
