Former BU power forward Jake O'Brien is transferring because the Terriers are likely shut out of the NCAA tournament this upcoming season after being banned from the America East's conference tournament. He will be a post-grad transfer with one year of immediate eligibility. Penn State is an obvious potential landing spot. He didn't originally commit to Chambers at Boston U, but was convinced to come back for two years after originally getting his release from the school. His career averages are 12.9 PPG and 5.6 RPG. Pretty ideal situation for PSU to have a guy who knows the Chambers system on the market that can bolster a young frontcourt. This is something to keep an eye on as it could move quickly.
