**UPDATE 2: During show introductions at the start of their July 20th show they used the original Batman theme as a sound effect. I'll write it again: they used the original Batman theme as a sound effect just over 12 hours after the Aurora, Colorado killings. SIGN THE PETITION!
**UPDATE: 7/5/12: On their July 5, 2012 show Boers & Bernstein taunted and ridiculed high school-aged PSU recruits for being quoted in a recent article about their future playing careers at Penn State. Forty-something- and sixty-something-year old grown men used words like, "creepy", and, "dense", to make fun of kids still in high school and who, according to Boers & Bernstein, will also use "child rape" as playing "motivation" on a 50,000-watt radio station that simulcasts online.
Bernstein also took to his Twitter account to continue the taunting and in a separate tweet posted a listener's text of a crowd chant: "New #PSU cheer: 'Victims 2, 4, 6, & 8, thanks so much for getting raped' Motivation!"
Don't believe me? Here's the link. Look for Hour 1 of the 7/5/12 show and fast forward about 15 minutes to hear nearly seven minutes of the most disgusting and insulting radio you'll ever hear. Plus, much of it is directed at kids still in high school. I know that if those two were talking about my son that way, I'd retain counsel. Link:
Making fun of Penn Staters is one thing, but two grown men ridiculing kids in high school has escalated the cause to emailing the CEO of CBS Radio personally.
CBS Radio thrives on one thing: sponsors dollars. Here's your chance to tell the sponsors AND THE CEO OF CBS RADIO INC. you're not frequenting their products any longer because of their support of CBS Radio.
If you're not familiar with the goings-on, the petition lists 10 additional examples.
