OT Friday: How Does Breaking Bad End?

As any Breaking Bad fan knows, the fifth and final season premiered on Sunday. It got off to a very interesting start as Walt and Jesse attempted to cover all their tracks after assassinating drugpin extraordinaire Gus Fring.

I watched the pilot on a whim, and was immediately hooked. Since the beginning, i have always wondered just how the show will end. It obviously won't be a satisfying end where everything is wrapped up with a tidy little bow, and everyone gets to ride off into the sunset. Walt is either going to prison, or more likely, get killed off.

  • A few possibilities that have crossed my mind:
  • Walt amazingly pulls everything off and finds a way to safely operate the business, only to have the lung cancer return and kill him.
  • Walt's ego gets the best of him, and he tips his hat to Hank-- leading to life in prison.

Walt gets killed by one of the many, many people he has crossed along the way. Those are my main theories, but my guess is that the writers come up with something I never saw coming. All I know is it will be one hell of a ride. So fellow Breaking Bad fans- how do you think it will end for Walt and company?
