Isn't it the lack of character and commitment to doing the right thing at the right time for the right reasons what got us into this mess? I fully understand any player that wants to leave for greener grass...I just don't agree with it.
Stand up, be a man that keeps his word, honors a commitment to himself, his team and his school. The easiest thing to do right now is to jump ship. In 15 years when you're teaching your children how to stick through the tough times...how will you stack up to the expectations you put on your kid? How will you answer their questions of why you didn't? Or will you just dodge that too?
In a similar situation my parents gave me one choice: Finish what you started. There are no stats for character, but I feel like a champ when my kids tell me that now they get it, when at the time they wanted to quit and take the easy way out.
You don't have fair-weather fans...why would you be a fair-weather teammate?
