It seems to me that when the NCAA really brings down the hammer, the people who caused the mess to begin with don't get punished. Here are just a few examples: 1. This year OSU can't go to a bowl game, and is on a tight leash with the NCAA. Pryor and Coach left. 2. USC with Bush and Coach. 3. The ruling by the NCAA towards PSU.
The schools are paying for misdeads of former coaches and players. I can understand schools getting punished, but it just does not seem right that the guilty don't pay (of course unless they go to jail).
I am all for every big football school leaving the NCAA and creating their own league run by a group of people who represent each school in the league.
