Sadly, we learned earlier in the week that cornerback Mike Wallace (@Mike_Wallz) will miss the upcoming season after suffering a torn pectoral muscle. Wallace's presence will be missed in 2012 with all of the attrition in the secondary. Despite the injury, he will still be heavily involved with the team in a leadership role.

Wallace will also remain busy with his off-the-field interests. Also known around State College for his musical chops, he is currently working on new music for his latest project, The Free Life. You can also check out his new radio show, Off the Wallz," which will air from 9 - 11 p.m. ever Tuesday and Wednesday night on The Lion 90.7 FM.
