Hey Guys...I've been a long time reader (since Mike ran the blog on the cheap). I haven't commented in a while but I love to read the articles and comments. Given the recent situation, I think now is time to show what we are made of. Unfortunately it is us against the world. Regardless of where I go or what I do, when someone asks me where I went to school I still proudly say PSU (knowing where the conversation is heading). I have no doubt in my mind that the recent events have solidified our students, alumni, and fans even more.

Going forward I think that we need to be reminded of a few things:

1. WE ARE PENN STATE...It takes more than 1 man to take us down; our pride, character, and quality will show that

2. 1887, 1912, 1968, 1969, 1973, 1994...Undefeated, Untied, Unrecognized...I dare someone to say that an undefeated PSU team should not be considered to be the best in the big ten or the nation (regardless of playing in the championship game)

3. These guys that are transferring out are kids...though it sucks to lose any player (especially those as special as Redd and Fortt) they are still kids, you don't know their situation, maybe they have not been happy in the program for a while and this gave them an opportunity for a fresh start...Do not dwell on what could have been; rather, think of the opportunities that will be...Though this is a sad time for PSU, these kids (present and future) are special and they are showing their quality.

We Are Penn State...I am proud to say that to anyone who asks...I will defend Joe, if only for the ideals that he represented...Hold you head high and support the team, if I was in State College I would cheer my ass off every game regardless the outcome...
