Penn State Graduation Rates

Just to amplify Nick Blonde's (aka Sunshine Shane?) thread on the front page, look at Penn State's GSR and FGR numbers AND where we rank in all of D-1A. If we have a football culture, it sure looks like a culture that should be emulated, not condemned. When schools are setting up ghost courses and curricula, oversigning then dumping kids, and a thousand other shady practices, and WE are negatively singled out, it is a sad, sad day.

I don't do homework, but I bet the schools above us include Stanford, Duke, and Northwestern -- pretty prestigious company, IMO.

Graduation Success Rate (top ranking): 87%
- more than double FIU’s rate
- #9 in all of division 1-A

Federal Graduation Rate (bottom ranking): 80%
- at least double that of 6 schools
- #6 in all of division 1-A

(Props to TheWrathofQBEagles for providing these stats.)

Eat crap and bark at the moon, Emmert and Erickson.
