A garbage-time touchdown run against Indiana State last season is his greatest on the field achievement. Okay, he can also claim to have a serious 'Sunshine' doppelganger from Remember The Titans. One thing that should not be overlooked however, is his hard work and dedication, particularly as quarterback of the foreign team, where he portrayed the opposing team's quarterback to get the starters prepared for their upcoming opponent each week for the past couple of years. Guys like Shane are not the type of players you'll see light up a stat sheet, but they play a vital role in making sure the team is prepared week in and week out. Did I also neglect to mention that Shane danced in THON this past February, currently maintains a 3.85 GPA, and is on track to graduate with degrees in English and Journalism this Fall? Talk about being the epitome of the Penn State 'culture.'
