Only Drew Astorino until Penn State Football

Nov. 12, 2011. Senior Hero-back Drew Astorino enters the field to cheers from alumni and fans on Senior Day. Penn State fell to Nebraska, 17-14, in Beaver Stadium. (BSD/Mike Pettigano)

Drew Astornio was a pint-sized player but, as often is the case, it wasn't the size of the dog in the fight it was the size of the fight in the dog. Often refereed to as the "best athlete on the field" by his teammates Astorino finished his senior season as an All-Big ten honorable-mention, a Ridge Riley Award (for "sportsmanship, scholarship, leadership and friendship") and an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. #FootballCulture
