Normally I could care less what ND does. However, I feel that ND is going to have to move football to a conference and in this instance, it would be the ACC now. Does anyone feel that PSU should consider a jump if possible? My initial thought is absolutely. From a sports perspective, a jump to the ACC would help basketball being able to play with UNC, Duke, Syr, Pitt, etc. I am not sure that the other sports would benefit as much but having southern exposure for other sports such as track and baseball could help.

From a purely football perspective, a northern division consisting of PSU, Pitt, Syr, Va Tech, UVA and eventually ND is an excellent slate of games and you can throw in some other ones as well. The only hold back could be the academic side, however, PSU should be able to immediately boast the top of the heap in that regard.

Considering that the Big Ten really sucks (at least this year), perhaps a fresh start in the ACC might be a good thing. Anyone have any thoughts?
