BlogPoll 2012: Week 1 Ballot

Stay connected for news and updates

Welcome back, football. Frankly, you could not get here fast enough and despite the plethora of sacrificial games jammed onto the schedule, it was a bit of normalcy returning. I've long held a no advancement when playing an I-AA FCS schools rule and without a real preseason poll in place, not that any preseason poll is worth a damn, we're building from scratch. Find the ballot after the jump and remember, questions, corrections, suggestions and objections are always welcome.

Alabama was, by far, the most impressive team of the weekend, because I'm still expecting Michigan to do something of substance this year. After that, South Carolina, Michigan State, Clemson and Virginia Tech probably had the toughest opponents, but it's difficult to judge after one game and the jury is still out. I can't stress how difficult it is to rank teams, when you have to remove anyone playing I-AA FCS schools the same week from consideration. I fear it will only become a worse situation in coming years, so if you found any team particularly impressive this weekend, lobby in the comments.
