Well my foodie football fans and friends, after a disappointing season opener at Beaver Stadium last Saturday, it's time to get on the bus and head to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. You all know their fans as the "Cavaliers" or "Wahoos", but, what some of you might not know, is: this historic university was designed by Thomas Jefferson and established in 1819. This famous founding foodie is also responsible for being the person who introduced macaroni and cheese to America AND served it in the White House!!!
Macaroni and cheese has go to be at the top of almost everyone's comfort food list... and we Penn Stater's can use all the comforting we can get these days...
That being said, if you want to go wild and crazy and "kick it up a notch" for a winning tailgate appetizer:
DIP IT IN BEER BATTER, COAT IT IN PANKO AND DEEP-FRY IT!
Want sauce with that? Try my "Sweet 'n Spicy Wing 'n Thing Sauce"!
As always, for these and all of my recipes and tailgating ideas:

For the Glory,
