The two teams will face off in 2013 and 2014

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Penn State and the University of Central Florida have agreed to a home-and-home football series in 2013 and 2014. The 2013 contest will take place in Happy Valley, while the 2014 contest will be in Orlando.

Penn State, which already has a full 12-game schedule in 2013, will have to drop a game to make this fit. UCF also has a 12-game schedule, but it's being said that they will drop their September 21 game against Bethune-Cookman to make this game fit. Penn State has a game that week against Kent State.

UCF also has a bye week during the week of September 14, when PSU plays Virginia. A source has told the Orlando Sentinel that this is the week when the two teams will play.

There is no word on when the two teams will play in 2014. Penn State plays UMass during the week of September 20, which is the week of the game UCF plans on dropping against Jacksonville State.
