Thanks again for nothing, Jerry.Sandusky lawyer asks state Supreme Court to review conviction

An attorney for Jerry Sandusky said he filed a request Wednesday to have the state Supreme Court review the former Penn State assistant football coach's case.
Philadelphia appeals lawyer Norris Gelman said the appeal would focus largely on an argument that Judge John M. Cleland erred by failing to tell jurors to consider how long Sandusky's victims waited to report their abuse when assessing their credibility.
Gelman said Wednesday that although a lower appeals court rejected the argument earlier this month, he believes it is Sandusky's best chance at a new trial.
"We've even made that argument stronger," said Gelman who has also represented Philadelphia mob boss Nicodemo "Little Nicky" Scarfo and John E. du Pont, a du Pont chemical heir convicted of murdering Olympic wrestler David Schultz... (story continues)
