With Minnesota's loss to Syracuse, the B1G has begun another bowl season, and the expected results are more of the same.
The B1G has one team, IOWA, with a winning bowl record, since PSU can't participate this year. Everybody else, including the newest member Nebraska, has a losing record in bowl games.
Penn State even with the sanctions eliminating bowl wins from 1998 to 2011 still has a 25-19 bowl record. ( Pre-sanction PSU was tied with USC for the best winning percentage in bowl games.)
Rutgers and Maryland, showing their pre-B1G form, have already lost bowl games, but those will go against the AAC and ACC this year.
Meanwhile, back in the B1G, this conference is ( and don't shoot the messenger) going to be a second-rate conference until it can show some sort of success against the rest of the football world. Until then, the B1G will remain a suckfull second-tier football conference compared with the SEC, PAC12, and BIG 12.
Let's go Michigan! Beat mighty Kansas State! For a Change!
