I m sorry folks. It pains me to post this link. I have canceled my personal subscription to the patriot news. And the "reporter" who editorialized this article is a prime reason why. I saw a clip on abc27 in harrisburg this evening about his testimony. Unfortunately they did not post a story on their website. For those that did not see the clip, they showed Erickson woefully attempting to respond to a 2 part question posed by Senator Corman. Erickson's response left a lot to be desired. They showed a question by Pat Vance that he responded to poorly again. Vance's question was whether he knew that the NCAA would take the fine money out of state before he signed the agreement. Corman put him on the hot seat about the fresh report, asking why the university has chosen not to publicly support Freeh's conclusions since they paid 6.5 million for them. He also asked why the university took the report at face value without examining his investigation. Corman cited numerous challenges to the validity of the contents of the Freeh report.
I wish I could vote for Corman, and I will send Pat Vance a thank you letter. Again sorry that the best link I could find is from this hack Charles Thompson. He shouldn't be writing for an elementary school newsletter let alone be payed to report facts in a newspaper.
