You all seemed so pre-occupied with the politics of the lawsuits and press conferences over the past few weeks, I hesitated to interrupt your trains of thought. If you thought the discussions here on BSD during these goings on were "spirited", you should have heard the ones in my Happy Valley kitchen. There wasn't enough gin in my Hendricks bottle!!!

Having both muffins on hand in my kitchen at the same time, inspired me to make two of my favorite toppings for them: Red Chili Honey Butter (for the corn muffins), and, Cinnamon Honey Butter (for the apple muffins).
Did you know that 'creamed honey' makes the best honey butter? If you've never heard of creamed honey, you are in for a treat. It is 100% natural, pure honey. It spreads like butter and doesn't drip or ooze like "regular" liquid honey!
