As Black Shoe Diaries's resident meteorologist, I can inform the people of the east coast that temperatures are going to be above normal for the month of April. It's been a long, hard winter (TWSS) as evidenced by my weekly phone calls home where there is STILL some snow on the ground, but warmer weather means a change in beer must go along with it. Hence, this thread.
I have already started drinking some of those spring and summer beers here in Texas where it will be 90 on Saturday, you guys. This FanPost is meant for everyone to say what they're drinking this spring as the temperatures start to warm up. We can put the porters and stouts away and start getting into the wheats and hefeweizens (if that's your thing), the pale ales, the IPAs and those lighter beers that go down so smooth on a hot day.
To start off, I had a New Belgium Cascara Quad tonight which had a weird taste but in the good type of weird. It being 10% also helped, but it was a great beverage to take down on a warm night such as this.
